Two Dreamers Go On a Walk, in two acts
(a short story)
Two indigenous Central American dreamers, Sal and Dulce, begin their reluctant walk to an immigration court appointment, when the fear of deportation and unresolved pain dredge up the past that they never fully left behind. In this epic short story across wars lived in one lifetime (2025, 1981, and even further back), 'Two Dreamers' asks, what does it take for the dreamers choose their future or must they repeat the violent cycle that they've walked so many times before?

A mysterious meeting between Salvador and Memo unravels the tumultuous emotions and unsettled histories that arise from the migration across constructed borders, all throughout one night. A play that resists death as the end of one’s story, and surpasses borders to find joy between mechanized tragedy.
